Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel

I came away from a cheeky trip to Space NK about two weeks ago with this little baby!  I was looking for a new cleanser to use with my Rio Sonicleanse as my Clinique and Liz Earle weren’t working for me.
After a through conversation with the nice lady (and a skin inspection, including pore size) where I told her I needed something gentle that wouldn’t over foam she suggested the Ren Centifolia Cleansing Gel (£17 for 150ml).  This is the first Ren product I’ve used and I have to say I’m impressed.  I was a little hesitant at first because of the price tag (I’ve never spent this much on a cleanser before!!!) but I’m so happy I took the plunge.
Ren describe this cleanser as:
The gentle gel cleanser removes dirt, makeup and pollution without drying. Formulated from cold-pressed centifolia rose petals, rose otto essential oil infuses your skin with vibrancy and vitality, leaving it feeling comfortable and refreshed.’
This cleanser is great with or without my Sonicleanse.  It doesn’t really foam up but I can see it taking all the grim off my face.  I’ll admit I’m not too fond of the smell.  That’s just my personal preference but it leave my skin feeling clean, soft and refreshed.
One of the things I’ve discovered about Ren is that they don’t use many nasty chemicals in their products.  As you can see from the photo above they advertise this fact which I think is great.  They make it easy for you to see what you are putting on your face.  I’ll admit I’ve never really paid attention to chemicals in products before.  It was only after hearing so much negativity about the Purity cleanser that I decided to sit up and take a bit of notice.
I’m so pleased with this purchase.  It’s a great addition to my cleansing routine.
Does anybody know any other great brands that stay as far away from chemicals as they can?
