No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Gel

I seem to have developed a habit of picking up rather expensive cleansers, my favourite alongside my ‘holy grail’ Liz Earle C&P is the Emma Hardie cleansing balm.  After running out of my 100th bottle of Cleanse and Polish I decided that it was time to see what the high street had to offer.  My reasoning: the cost – it seems to be getting more and more expensive to care for your skin these days.
The No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Gel costs £9.50 – the same price my favourite Liz Earle offering entered the market at all those years ago.  This is the first gel based cleanser I’ve tried as I’ve usually stuck to creams and balms and it was sceptical about what it would do to my skin.  As a dry skinned gal, I have to be really careful about which products I use in fear of drying it out .  But I need not have worried as the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Gel has exceeded all my expectations.  Step aboard the rave train…
Firstly, it’s so simple to use.  With a face full of make up a work the gel into my skin until it breaks down into it non-drying oil form.  This protects the natural moisture levels and hydrates my dry patches at the same time, before changing into a light milk formula which is super easy to get rid of with a warm hot flannel.  If I’m doing a double cleanse (which I usually am) I’ll repeat the above again to really make sure my pores are getting a good cleanse.  My skin always looks clean and radiant after I use this both in the morning and on an evening.  It’s also tough (but gentle) enough to use on my stubborn eye makeup.  I really like the scent and just like the moisturisers in the range it is fragranced so sensitive skinned girls will need to be careful but this really is a fuss free cleanser.
I’ve been using my bottle for over a month now and I’m only about half way through.  It only takes the smallest drop to do your whole face – and I’ve been double cleansing!  Overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this product and will definitely be replacing it after it’s finished.  I’m so happy I’ve found a product that has worked and is under a tenner! I think this proves that you don’t always have to spend a fortune for good skincare – you just have to find what works for you.
