Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation Review

A few weeks ago I did a post on my favourite ‘go to’ foundation, my Max Studio Fix Fluid (see here) which I absolutely love.  However I can no longer ‘go to’ my ‘go to’ as it has ran out, sad face!  So off I went into town to re purchase when something amazing happened!  I remembered I have £15 worth of Debenhams Beauty Card points (yay!)  That was the good news.  The bad news is that my local debenhams do not have a Mac counter so I decided to go for the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation instead.
I have to say I am impressed with this foundation.  It gives a light to medium (although I would say more on the light side) coverage which gives a lovely, natural complexion.  It’s oxygen hydrating complex helps to boost cellular respiration which according to Benefit gives a ‘plumping’ effect.  It contains Vitamins C and E to help combat ageing (and we all know how I feel about that!)  It also has SPF 25 and is oil free.
I quite like this foundation.  I would say it is one up from a tinted moisturiser but I don’t get as heavier coverage as I would from my trusted Mac.  I went for the shade Ivory “I’m pure 4 sure” which is obviously the lightest shade and I quite like the packaging too.  The box is pretty and the bottle allows you to see exactly what is left in it.  It pumps nicely and I got a free sample of Porefessional which I will be trying out too.  I just apply this with my Real Techniques buffing brush for a lovely velvet finish.  It feels really light and is very hydrating which is great for dry skinned people such as myself.  My only grip is that it is probably not as long lasting as I would have liked it to be.  I’m a lazy person, I hate touching up my face but with this I feel I need to later on it the day.
Would I repurchase?  Probably in summer when I like my foundation to be a little lighter.  A bit of primer will always sort out the longevity problem.  I’m looking forward to trying some more Benefit make up, I may go for their ‘Watts Up Highlighter’ next!!  Benefit Hello Flawless is available from Debehams for £24.
Has anybody tried it?  What are your thoughts on it?
