Everybody loves a good Disney photo opportunity so I thought I’d create the ultimate list of the most Instagrammable spots at Disneyland Paris. If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris soon, I hope this list is useful to you!
The Most Instagrammable spots at Disneyland Paris
The Most Instagrammable spots at Disneyland Park
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Let’s start with the obvious… Sleeping Beauty’s castle – arguably the prettiest castle from any of the parks. There are so many angles to shoot this castle from. My personal favourite spot to capture castle shot f from is on the left-hand side (as you look at the castle), there a little area which is perfect. Other favourite angles include head-on shots and using the ledges at the front of the castle.
Main Street USA and the Disneyland Paris Casting Door
Main Street USA is a Disney parks icon. There are so many places to shoot on Main Street thanks to its colourful backdrops and beautifully styled shops.
Don’t forget Main Street at park closing time which offer beautiful lights and stunning lit up the castle in the background.
Mickey & Minnie Balloons
As you walk into Disneyland Park, if you look to the left you’ll see City Hall and under the balcony of the shop that is next to it, is usually the biggest bunch of Mickey and Minnie balloons. These make for cute photos with a mouse twist!
While not as cute as Minnie’s actual house, her meet and greet location in Disneyland Paris also make a beautiful backdrop when Minnie isn’t meeting. The cute porch is fun with the perfect colour pop!
The Coca-Cola Van
On the left hand side, about half way up Main Street is the Coca-Cola Van which is actually a refreshment stand in the summer. But when it’s closed, it makes the perfect backdrop for beautiful photos.
The Pink Porch
Directly opposite the Coca-Cola van, on the other side of Main Street, nestled away towards the back of the little road is the Pink Porch. This has become so popular for photography lately. It gives Disney vibes without being overly Disney and makes for a great backdrop of outfit posts.
To the right of the castle towards fantasyland there is a walkway to Discoverylan. Sometimes this is closed off and when it is, the gate they use to do it makes to most love backdrop for cute Disney outfit photos!
Meet Mickey Mouse
Right at the back of Fantasyland, you can meet the main man himself – Mickey Mouse. His attraction has a wonderful front full of old Mickey posters.
Mad Hatters Tea Party
Arguably the prettiest of the teacups (but it really is who you ask), Mad Hatter’s Tea Party offers a beautiful location for your Instagram photos. Both in front of or on the ride make perfect shots.
Alice’s Curious Labyrinth
This beautiful maze is full of photo opportunities. With plenty of characters dotted around and lush greenery, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is s stunner.
Big Thunder Mountain
Head on over to Frontierland not only to ride what is arguably the best Big Thunder Mountain of the Western parks but get a beautiful photo with it too. Any area around the lake offers beautiful views of the ride and the mountain.
Happy haunts are ready to welcome you into Phantom Manor and the Manor itself makes a stunning backdrop for your photos.
Head on over to Adventureland and you’ll find the perefct spots for pirates to get their photos! If Peter Pan isn’t meeting, his meet location gives the perfect background for your photos.
I couldn’t write a list on the most instagrammable spots in Disneyland Paris without talking about the Disneyland Hotel. The beautiful pink hotel has so many angles available that it makes the perfect backdrop for Disney photos. You can take photos in front of the fountains or move a little closer for your shots.
The Most Instagrammable spots at Walt Disney Studios Park
The Earffel Tower
Ok, so to get the best shot of the Earffel Tower, you actually need to be on the outside of the Studios Park on the walkway between that and Disneyland. The water tower is incredibly iconic and since Hollywood Studios got rid of theirs, this is pretty special!
Right in the entrance to the Studios park stand Sorcerer Mickey atop a beautiful fountain and surrounded by brooms. This backdrop makes a great Instagram shot, especially with the golden broom statues!
The Partner Statue
Unlink other Disney Parks, the Partner Statue of Walt and Mickey can be found in the Studios Park right on the exit of Studio One. It’s a beautiful statue and one to grab a snap with as you pass!
Monsters Inc Door
As you come out of Studio One and head right towards Crushes Coaster, immediately on the tight is a photo spot for the Monster’s Inc Characters (usually Sully). However when Sully isn’t meeting, it’s open for people to go have their photo with Boo’s door.
Tower of Terror Fountain
Tower of Terror is my favourite ride at Disney and just neat the entrance is the hotels sign which has the faint glow of the twilight zone etched into it. Sitting ot standing, its the spooky background of dreams.
Overlooking (and I like to think protecting) Toy Story land is a huge Buzz Lightyear that makes a fun photo opportunity.
Opposite the entrance to Slinky Dog, is a colourful wall built from giant dominos! The perfect colourful background!
You’ll also spot the Pixar Ball which is quite easy to get a photo with without people in the background if you time it right.
Toy Soldier Parachute Wall
On the entrance to Parachute Drop is a toy soldier parachute stuck to a wall just asking to be photographed!
Nestled around the back of Toy Story Land next to RC Racers is a giant Rex. I’ve had so many photos with him, my favourite ones being the ones where I’m pulling a scary face at Rex’s terrifying roar!
The whole section of the park dedicated to Ratatouille is *Chef’s Kiss’ (see what I did there?) The French backdrop can make for some wonderful photos.
So that’s my ultimate guide to the most Instagrammable spots at Disneyland Paris. Let me know in the comments if I’ve missed any!
