What I got for Christmas posts are always a bit hit and miss in the blogging world so if they’re not for you, please stop reading now. However as I love reading blog posts about it and watching them on YouTube I like to share my own too. I see it as my way of giving back to the YouTube community because trust me, all I do between Christmas and new year (besides eating) is watch these sorts of videos.
I’m so lucky to be surrounded by friends and family who are very kind and generous. Even though I always feel so spoilt at this time of year, my favourite thing about Christmas is spending quality time with my loved ones… and the week and a half off work. This year I spent Christmas Day with my mum’s family, Boxing Day with my Dad (as it’s also his birthday) and then headed on up to Chester for a few days to see Adam and his family.
For New Year we went for a lovely meal at a restaurant in Birmingham called Le Monde (excellent fish!) and watched the Birmingham fireworks with a glass of champagne. It felt wonderful to have a nice long break from both work and blogging. I think sometimes we’re all o busy with a hundred different things on the go, we forget to take time to ourselves.
So sit back, relax and enjoy my ‘What I Got For Christmas’ video. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, however you spent it. Don’t forget to subscribe to my NEW VLOG CHANNEL (dedicated purely to daily and weekly vlogging!) You can also read more about my Goals for 2017, HERE!
Let me know in the comments what was your favourite part of Christmas this year?
