The Good Ship Benefit

The week before I disappeared off to Florida (can you believe I’m already back and it’s been a month since I went… sob!) I was lucky enough to be invited to the Good Ship Benefit down at R.S. Hispaniola to celebrate the launch of the Cheekathon Palette, exclusively available at House of Fraser.

R.S Hispaniola has been decorated to the nines to create a fun environment where you can do everything from getting a brow makeover in the brow bar, to sipping champagne on the deck.  There are so many different themed rooms with my favourite mascara, ‘They’re Real’ getting it’s own themed bar… sounds perfect.  They’re hosting a number of events over the summer with everything from yoga on the Hoola deck to the funny woman awards.

I’ve been getting my brows tinted and waxed at Benefit since I let Jared Bailey (Benefit’s Brow Master) convinced me to let him loose on them two years ago.  So when the Bene-babes offered to do them while I visited the ship, I immediately took them up on it ready for my holiday.  There’s just something really relaxing about having your brows done – even though it hurts. And who doesn’t love their brows looking ‘fleeky’.

I was really impressed with what Benefit has done with Good Ship Benefit and even more impressed with the Cheekathon palette which contains five full sized bronzer and blushes including Dandelion, Hoola, Rockateur, Dallas and Coralista.  It also comes with a mini powder blush to apply all your favourites with.  I can’t wait to get using this over the summer. cheekathoncheekathon 1

You can see the full guide of what’s on Good Ship Benefit on their special ship site.  It’s open until 31st August so you’ve got all summer to head on down and check it out.  For the views of the Thames if nothing else!
