The end of August is a very exciting time for me… it’s my birthday (and it usually signals the little cherubs going back to school very soon and my lunch times get a bit more bearable again). This year I turned 26 (still mid twenties people!) and I had one of my best birthday’s ever. If you want to see what I did click the link to read about my London Birthday Adventure.
I was also very spoilt by my loved ones…especially The Northerner who has proven himself to be the sweetest and kindest man I’ve ever dated…. Seriously, he made my heart melt a little. I love watching ‘What I got for my birthday’ videos. I’m such a nosy parker and I love seeing how people have matched gifts to their loved one’s personalities. I love seeing the thought that has gone in to each gift. The gifts I was lucky enough to receive were super thoughtful and it was another reminder that I’m very grateful for the life I have and the people that I have around me.
So onto the main event… I posted a video on my YouTube channel so that all you other nosy parkers can have a little snoop and see what I got. I promise I’m not bragging – I just really like to watch this sort of video so I thought it would be fun to make one too and give a little back into the YouTube community. Also I wanted to share my super awesome birthday cards… yes, yes you can see clearly and your eyes are not failing you… Those are two cards that are meant for 6 year olds but have had the number ‘2’ scrawled on them form my 26th birthday. And of course they’re Disney related (Disney princess related to be exact). Let’s be honest, did you expect anything else from me?
