After what seems an eternity for UK based bloggers, Make Up For Ever finally hit UK stores back in May, launching exclusively at Debenhams online and on Oxford Street.  Great if you know what you want without testing the products or live/go to London.  However a few weeks ago they also opened a boutique on the new beauty floor in Debenhams Bullring which made Charlotte a very happy lady.

Well versed readers of this blog will have seen me rave about the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation way back in 2013 when I finally got my hands on it during one of my trips to the USA.  It was love at first use and I desperately tried to make my bottle last as long as I could because even when Sephora started shipping to the UK, I couldn’t justify spending massive amounts around it to meet the shipping costs.

Fast forward to 2015 and the Debenhams Bullring boutique stocks the foundation in abundance.  Although the store only stocks around 650 of 1600 products (the concealer palette continues to evade me!) there’s still plenty of choice and plenty of products to choose from.  Make Up For Ever is all about creating art and looks and there are certainly enough products to do that with.  They also have a very impressive shade range so even the pale and darker skinned ladies amongst us can get in on the action!

I was invited down by MUFE to have a makeover in their new Birmingham Boutique and to learn about some of their other products.  As you can see from the photos and my weekly vlog, it’s like a mini store within itself and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the brand.  My Makeup Artist fully understood my pale skin versus foundation plight as she was a ‘sufferer’ herself too.

I went for a neutral look as even though I’d have loved to try something more wild, I wanted to see how the products fit into my everyday routine… just like the foundation.  I was so impressed with the final look and have been trying to emulate it every day for work since.  I’m particularly impressed with the HD powder so expect a blog post on that soon.  I’m so pleased that MUFE have finally landed on UK shores and I hope that you other UK beauties get boutiques popping up near you very soon.

Have you tried anything from MUFE? What’s you favourite product?
