Why there’s nothing like fresh flowers

Appleyard London Decadence Bouquet of Flowers full lenght

If there’s one thing most beauty bloggers have in common, it’s a love of fresh flowers.  I try to have fresh flowers in the house as often as possible; whether it’s a beautiful bouquet or some simple daffodils when they come into season.

One day of the year I always tend to have flowers in the house is Valentines Day (with this year being no exception I hope) and if you’re already thinking about treating your other half to some flowers (yes a few men do read my blog according to my analytics!) I have an alternative to your florist on the high street,

This beautiful bouquet, called Decadence* is from Appleyard London who have a beautiful range of Valentines flowers on their website.  I’ve had them in the house for seven days now and they’re still going strong (actually some of the lilies are yet to bloom – talk about fresh).  They were delivered in a huge box so they were very safe in transit.  They also came with a feeder in the bottom so even though I didn’t pick them up from my concierge until after work, they were still being hydrated.  My new flat mate and I are delighted to have them on our new dining table and everybody who has passed through this week has commented on how beautiful they are.

The good news for readers of my blog is that you can get a 40% discount off a range of luxury bouquets from Appleyard London by entering BLOG40 in the discount box at the checkout (with a few restrictions). I’m certainly going to be using it to order another bouquet very soon (after my flowers from Valentines day die of course… I’m seriously hinting here aren’t I?)  They also sell a huge range of valentines day gifts including hampers and wine if you’re looking for something else for the day… or another occasion.

So whether it’s flowers for valentines day, or you just want to treat somebody special for whatever occasion, be sure to check out the fantastic range at Appleyard London.
