Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel Review

Last month I wrote a post absolutely raving about the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser – it was love at first cleanse.  Whilst that love continues to grow with every use, another product from Ole has been quietly chugging along in the background doing it’s thang – and now it’s time it gets the recognition it deserves.
It’s really difficult to review eye gels as I guess you don’t really see the benefits until much later on in life but I’ve been really loving the Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel*.  As far as eye gels go, this one has been ticking all the boxes when it’s come to sorting out my tired, dry, puffy eyes.
I’ve been using this gel every other night for around about 3 months now.  Designed to lift, firm and de-puff the eye area, as soon as you open the lid you get the strongest whiff of cucumber which you automatically associate with eye treatments.  I apply it under my eyes, dab some on my eyelids and extend it towards my brow bone.  It instantly soothes the area and feels really lovely – especially after a long day.  You can use it of a morning to and if i’m having a makeup free day I’ll whack it on but I tend to go for something a little different under my makeup.
As I’ve gotten older I’m certainly more concious of fine lines around my eye area (especially because I’m an expressive talker and my eyes and forehead take the full brunt of that!) and using a blend of hyaluronic acid and bio-peptides this Ole Henriksen offering promises to help keep them at bay.  It also contains read micro algae which instantly lifts and tightens the skin.  I keep mine in the fridge – next to the eggs if you were wondering – which gives it the extra ‘ahhhhh’ factor when you apply it.
As I said earlier the real results of this product won’t be seen for many years but I’ve really love incorporating it into my routine, especially now I’m paying more attention to this step.  The Ole Henriksen Ultimate Life Eye gel is available from .  So tell me, have you started using eye creams or gels yet?
