As a pale girl, I like nothing more in the winter than to warm my face up with a pop of blush on the apples of my cheeks. I tend to avoid anything too pink as my cheeks naturally redden in the cold (and oh my has it been bitterly cold these last few weeks… I envy you if you’re in a warmer climate!) The Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in the colour First Love is the perfect companion for pale skinned ladies. Filled with finely crushed pearls of pigment, it provides a youthful flush of shimmer along with warm peachy tones that brighten your face and give you that ‘young love’ glow. It’s the most neutral of the six shades on offer.
The Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher’s have a two step application process. First you swish the outer shade up your cheeks bones and then use the middle shade to add a pop of colour to the apple of your cheeks. Together, they create what Charlotte herself calls the ‘Love glow’. It’s easily buildable and gives a healthy, perfect glow that is durable and lasts for a good eight hours. You can of course swirl your brush around in the pan to combine the two and I like to use it this way most days as it gives an all over, blended look.
I’ve yet to find a blush that I’ve fallen in love with more than this one and I can see it remaining in my collection and being repurchased and repurchased for a long time.
