Well Birmingham Primark was certainly the centre of attention this week wasn’t it? What with the lady giving birth outside in under 5 minutes! Unfortunately (or fortunately – however you want to look at it!?) my trip to Primark was no where near as eventful but I did pick up a few bits and pieces to add to my summer wardrobe.
As most of you know, I started a new job this week and wanted to add a few new work wear items to my wardrobe. If there’s one thing I’m struggling with this year, it’s dressing seasonally appropriate. For some reason, my work wardrobe seems to be stuck in the depths of winter and the majority of it is all black. I used my Primark trip as an opportunity to not only pick up some Primark essentials but to inject a bit of colour into my work wear life.
I’ll be completely honest, i was really disappointed with Primark this time but then again it could just be the Birmingham one playing to it’s old tricks. I bet any fellow Brummie’s will be hoping that the news about Primark taking over half of the Pavillions to turn it into a gigantic Primark-to-end-all-Primarks superstore is true!
