Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser

I’ll admit Clarins is not a brand I’ve had much to do with and to be honest I’m not really sure what the reason is.  Designed for dry to normal skin, the Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser is a simple one simple step, soothing cleanser that creates the sensation of water-fresh cleansing — without the water.  Packed with Moringa Seed extract, it gently rinses-away impurities and make-up with a fresh, non-foaming action. The peach’s softening and soothing properties leaves your skin supple and velvety-soft with a healthy glow.
The first thing I will say about this cleanser is my, oh my, it smells GOOD!  The smell of peach radiates from the liquid and not the chemically kind, the natural mouthwatering fruit kind.  Of course if you don’t like a peach scent then of course this product isn’t going to be for you.  All you need to do is soak a cotton wool pad in the cleanser and sweep it across the face to remove makeup and any environmental nasties away from your face.  It took me around three lightly soaked cotton pads to remove everything although it did struggle with my waterproof eye makeup which was disappointing.
Even though Clarins state this is a one stop cleanser I always follow up with a cleansing balm or cream (you can read about why I double cleanser here) but I am impressed with how much makeup this cleanser does transfer to the cotton pad.  This would be perfect for a quick morning cleanser or if you are on the go.  I’ve popped mine in my gym bag.
I’m not sure I’ll repurchase as I’m too much of a balm/cream cleanse fan but if you are into your micellur’s then I urge you to try this.  The Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser is available from Boots at £20 for 100ml.
