Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser

Liz Earle is a brand that I’ve been using for around three years now and there are certain products that I’d class give ‘HG’ status.  Of course the first product on that list is the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish but hot on it’s heels is the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser in Normal/Combination.
The final part of the three step programme (in the ‘standard’ LE skincare packaging), Skin Repair has lots of naturally active ingredients such as Borage and Avocado Oil, Echinacea and natural Vitamin E which are designed to replace lost moisture and help protect against dryness.  I picked up the normal/combination version as my skin has become less dry of late and have been using it for around 2 months.
I throw this on of a morning and it makes the perfect base for my makeup.  First things first, it’s very rich and takes a good five minutes to soak in before I move on to my SPF but the result is moist, plump skin that doesn’t look or feel dry.  I make sure to give my neck a generous helping also – never forget your neck!  You also don’t need a lot of the stuff as a small amount can cover my whole face and some of my neck.
I really can’t decide which moisturiser I love more for daytime use; this one or the Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser.  I’m happy with whichever one my hand reaches first.  However unlike Ginzing, I don’t mind using the Liz Earle Skin Repair at night either.  A good layer of this and I wake up in the morning with soft, hydrated skin.
You can pick up the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser in Normal/Combination or in Dry/Sensitive for £19.25 from John Lewis.
