Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

Even though I take off my makeup with a hot cloth cleanser and some kind of flannel/muslin cloth everyday, there are times when my skin needs an extra hand in removing dead skin cells.  Step in Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator.
The Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator* is a VERY gentle exfoliant which I’m guessing will be suitable for most skin types; even the sensitive skinned amongst us.  When I say gentle I really do mean it. In fact it may even be too gentle for some people but for me it works a treat.  I feel like it’s removing all the dead skin from my face without feeling like I’m rubbing sand paper all over it.  It reminds me of Cleanse & Polish but with beads.  It’s rich cream formula covers the face and is easily wiped away with a muslin cloth leaving behind polish and fresh looking skin.  I’ve even been known to use this in place of C&P when I’ve run out and not been able to get to John Lewis in time.
Packaging wise, it’s the usual creamy yellow of some of the Liz Earle skin care range and it looks lovely on my bathroom shelf.  With two pumps I can cover my whole face
I use it around once a week at the moment – twice I’m having a particularly dull skin week.  It helps to give  my skin that extra bit of pizzazz!  If you’re looking for a strong exfoliant then this won’t be the one for you but if you’re looking for a small helping hand in keeping skin looking fresh then you may want to give this one a go.
The Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator is available from John Lewis for £14 for 70ml.  What’s your favourite exfoliator?
