Youtubezzzz

Today is my 2nd anniversary in the big bad world of YouTube.  Thank you to everybody who has already left lovely comments congratulating me or saying ‘happy birthday’.  I’m so close to reaching 3000 subbies which compared to some people is a teeny amount but I still can’t believe that 3000 people have taken some interest in my channel.
My YouTube channel is like me; erratic but fully of good hearted content.  I don’t like to limit it to just beauty and started incorporating different topics quickly.  Now it’s a hub of Disney and beauty knowledge with a few lifestyle videos thrown in.  I still find it amazing that my most popular video is one I made on a whim one Sunday afternoon; Disney Hints and Tips #1.
A huge thank you to everybody who has watched one of my videos over the last two years.  I honestly have had so many amazing opportunities from my blog and channel and it;s given me a fantastic outlet to unleash my thoughts and creativity.  I’d love for my numbers to keep on growing but if they don’t I know i can still be proud of my achievements.

If you’re considering starting YouTube i would say go for it.  You don’t need fancy equipment to get started, just a camera and lots of enthusiasm.  When I started I didn’t have my 600d or studio lightening and would just rely on good old natural light!

So I thought I’d leave you with my very first YouTube video.  It was filmed on my iPhone after work one Friday evening and I did it all in one take.  There was no editing, no iMac to upload it from; just me and my February favourites!
