Becca Rejuvenating Primer Review

Except for one other primer (which you can read about here) I haven’t really dabbled much in primer.  I seem to go through phases with it.  Some months, I use it all the time and others (and most months) I stay away from the stuff.  Not for any particular reason might I add, I just feel that for everyday makeup it’s an unnecessary step.  Primer is however, essential for long days and nights out when you don’t want your makeup to budge.
The Becca Rejuvenating Primer* is designed to be a nourishing and lightweight primer that hydrates the skin whilst ensuring that makeup lasts all day.  It creates a luminous base for foundation to sit on.  As a dry skinned girl I’m really conscious that the products I put on my face don’t dry it out.  I haven’t noticed my skin get any drier which can only be a good sign.   I tested this primer in lots of different conditions from hot offices to cold walks with a number of different foundations so I could get the full picture.  I’m pleased to report that the primer stood up to all the different conditions and I definitely noticed an increase in my foundations wear time.
I’ve been really impressed with this primer although I think that sadly Becca has discontinued it.  I can’t seem to find it anywhere now (I know i’m a tease for writing this post).  So I guess my tube is on rations then.
The good news is that Becca is relaunching in the UK very soon so watch this space…
