Lush Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic Review

Lots of Lush Golden Wonder bath Ballistics

The third stage of the Lush Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic
So a few weeks before Christmas I made the annual pilgrimage to Lush in Birmingham to pick up supplies for the festive season (you can see the haul video HERE). After watching FleurDeForce (my biggest enabler) go on and on about the Lush Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic I had to pick it up and after giving it a quick sniff in the shop I dropped it in my basket and do you know what I’m really glad I did!
I must say this could be my favourite new Lush scent (yes even overtaking Snow Fairy!)  I’ve never had a nicer bath.  Yes there are no bubbles but the ballistic itself is a treat to watch.  The gold and yellow coating quickly simmers down into greens, blues and pinks and makes the prettiest bath I’ve ever seen.  There’s even pretty gold stars in the middle which spread all over the waters surface.  I imagine this is what regular Princesses have in ALL of their baths and I felt special!  Unfortunately they do dissolve by the time you’ve finished your bath (but at least they don’t clog your plughole!)
Scent wise Golden Wonder is described by Lush as a ‘champagne cocktail’ which I would agree with.  Even my boyfriend who doesn’t really like strongly scented bath items commented on how nice this ‘one’ actually was.  It contains sweet orange oil, cognac oil and lime oil which gives it a citrus fragrance (no wonder I was drawn to it in the store.)  Citrus has fast become my favourite scent, I love anything now that is scented like that; baths, candles, perfumes… I love smelling like an orange!
One this I will say though is that cutesy golden layer on the outside, yes the same one that you get on your fingers then in turn EVERYWHERE is a pain to get off the bottom of the bath once all the water has gone.  It took me a good while to get my bath back to it’s brilliant white colour which I like to see it at.
Now I know I’m a huge tease posting this when it is no longer available but I had to tell you about what I think is my new favourite bath ballistic and I’m very upset I only picked up the one.  I don’t want to wait a whole year before I can use it again!  Lush Birmingham have recommended I switch to Green Bubbleroon which I have already tried but I just don’t think it’s the same.  So I come to my readers for help, which regular line of Lush Bath ballistic comes close to Golden Wonder? HELP!
