My Optique London Retrol Glasses Review

I’ve been a fully bonafide glasses wearer now since about April.  Ok, maybe not fully bonafide as I only need to wear them when I’m driving or watching TV/cinema and my prescription is pretty weak in comparison to some peoples.  I don’t always have to wear them out in public but all the same I love having a nice pair of glasses that I’m not conscious of.  In fact with the right pair of glasses I’m the total opposite; I love wearing them out in public.  Kind of a funny story but I feel like when I have my glasses on I’m wearing a mask and nobody will recognise me.  Great for when I want to pop out with no makeup on.
When MyOptique got in touch with me and asked if I’d like to review a pair of their London Retro glasses I jumped at the chance.  I love my usual Rayban frames but it’s nice to mix it up once in a while just like with other things (such as bags and shoes).  I opted for the Bakerloo* style glasses (gotta love a good Sherlock reference!) in the colour ‘Black Horn’.  I love the big cat eye frames and they came with scratch resistant and anti reflective lenses .  I was a bit worried about how they’d look but I love wearing them and I think they look good even if nobody else does.  I thought I’d go for something a bit different to my other frames which are solid black in colour.  I opted for these ones because of the tortoises shell which I usually reserve for sunglasses.
The feel pretty sturdy and the case they come in is beautiful.  The case is a dark brown high gloss pleather which feels very expensive and is big enough and sturdy enough to protect the glasses.  Even though I was sent my glasses, when I was choosing which ones i wanted from the website I ouldn;t help but notice how reasonably priced the frames were too. They seem on par with what was on offer in my opticians.
Now the good news is, is that MyOptique are giving one of my readers the chance to win any pair of London Retro frames from their website which they can have as non prescription lenses, sunglasses or even prescription lenses (pretty nice of them!).  All you need to do to enter is follow this instructions on the rafflecopter below. Don’t forget to go give the MyOptique Facebook page a like!  Good luck!
