Repurchased

I think part of being a blogger is that you get itchy feet when it comes to trying new products.  Your cleanser can have over two thrids left and you already have another five lined up to try.  Switching mid bottle is pretty inevetiable as you strive to find the best products for your skin; the newest ‘thing’ can momentarily distract you from your current routine.  Which is why it is such a big deal when you not only reach the end of a product but actually go out and repurchase it.  I suppose this makes these products a bit of a big deal for me, holy grail even.  So which products have found their way into my shopping basket for the second (or third) time…

Benefit They’re Real Mascara
For somebody who vowed to never to stray away from my beloved L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof, I’m onto my third bottle of this stuff.  I adore it!  I love the fact that it just doesn’t budge.  It’s even better than some of the waterproof mascara’s I’ve tried.  I love the curl this gives to my short, stumpy lashes.  I love the brush that allows me to get right into the corners.  And I love the fact that it’s so easy to build it up.  One thing I don’t love however, is that it seems to dry out so quickly.  For me, this definatley works better the wetter it is but you have to be so careful with the big bottles to get the lid back on as soon as you can or you’ll probably lose it sooner than you would like.

Bioderma
It’s very easy to see why Biodera came top of the poll in the recent Escentuals Micellur Water Challange.  Having used this for over a year now I can safely say I love this stuff.  The bottles that preceeded this unopened lovely have actually lasted me since August 2012.  I bought two for 17 Euros while in Paris (oh how I wish we got those prices here) and they have lasted pretty well; 5 months each on average.  I use Bioderma as the first stage of the cleansing process to take the top layer of makeup on then use my cleanser to take off the rest, leaving my face squeeky clean.  Bioderma is also great for removing eye makeup and also for those drunken nights when there is no chance of standing over the sink to massage in cleanser.  At least you’re getting some of the gunk off your face!!  I also picked up the small bottle for my overnight bag because it’s good to be prepared for the adventures ahead!

Estee Lauder
If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ll know that this has to be my ultimate skincare product.  Honestly, if I had to rank all my skincare products this would come top of the list without a shadow of a doubt!  I love the effect this has on my skin but I suppose you know that as this is the second bottle i’ve purchased.  Even though it was a tad on the pricey side, I went for the 50ml bottle this time round.  Part of me wished I’d picked up the 100ml but forking out £80 in one go was a bit too much for me.  I love ‘Advanced Night Repair’ and most of that love comes from the fact that you can see the results quite clearly.  My skin always looks healthier and hydrated after using it and I also know that using it is helping to prevent future skin damage!

Oribe Arpres Beach and Wave Spray
The newest edition to the ‘repurchased’ basket is a product that to be honest I’ve got through quicker than I would have like but one that I’m absolutely addicted to!  I promise there will be a full review soon but wow, wow, wow!! I’ve never been able to achieve this sort of beach wave before but with the Beach and Wave spray it is now so effortless.  It also smells INCREDIBLE!   It doesn’t come cheap at £33 a bottle, nor does it last very long but I wouldn’t ever be without a bottle of this on my dresser again.  A simple upside-down blow dry plus a generous spray onto fresh hair causing amazing volume and wave.  I guess I’m lucky as it has a natural wave to work with but it manages to tame frizz and hold style all day as well which is a mean feat in the case of my unruly tresses!

So there you have it, my repurchases!  Not every product gets a coveted spot in the basket but I know I’ve picked some real beauts here and as some products come and go, I’m guessing that these will be around for a long time!
