Review: O.P.I Nail Envy Review

Depending on how long you have been reading my blog, you will know that my biggest beauty battle is biting my nails.  I am forever doing it.  I’ve tried so many things to stop.  My nails are essentially ruined.  They are brittle and they snag easily… And when they snag and I don’t have nail scissors to hand i just bit the loose bit off.  You can see it is a bit of a cycle!
I decided that trying to strengthen them rather that trying to avoid biting them.  The though process behind that was that if they are strong I won’t be able to bite them off.  Que purchasing OPI Nail Envy.  I have seen a lot of people in blogger world talk about it but I’ll admit I was still cynical about it. I’ve tried loads of products that claim to strengthen and promote growth in nails but I have yet to see any product achieve this.  I bought my Nail Envy off Amazon for around the £10.95 mark.
I started using it religiously.  Following the instructions I applied two coats and then another coat every other day.  After a week I could definatly see an improvement in my nail.  At first I thought it was some kind of psychology I’d done on myself; I was so keen to see a result I didn’t bite my nail meaning that my nails could flourish naturally.  However when the novilty had worn off and I attempted to bite my thumb nail it was rock solid.  I couldn’t bite into it at all.  Even a few days after taking the Nail Envy off they stayed strong.
I’ve been using it a few weeks now and I have seen such an improvement in my nails and it is all down to Nail Envy.  I’m looking forward to painting my nails again in lots of pretty colours!  I have Essie’s burning holes in my makeup storage and now I can finally use them!  Of course I’m going to continue to use the Nail Envy as a base coat.  I’m really pleased I put my doubts aside and too the plunge.  My nails are thankful!
