The Sunday Post #24: Olympic Fever!

**Warning this is a picture heavy post!**
You may have noticed that I have been a bit awol this week.  I decided to take a short break from blogging as it had started to feel like a chore and that’s never fun is it?  Nor is it the point.  If I get to a point where I feel as if i have to blog rather than wanting to i just take a short break to find my mojo again.  This week I decided that I just wanted to chill out, spend some time with James and watch some good old Olympics on the telebox!!
James and I decided that we were going to go to Hyde Park yesterday to soak up some Olympic atmosphere.  However, Friday night we actually managed to get our hands on some TICKETS for BEACH VOLLEYBALL!  I was so excited!
So Saturday came and we made our way to London.  We spent the morning chilling in Hyde Park watching the big screens and then headed off to Horse Guards Parade.  Can I just say, Beach Volleyball might be one of the best sports you could go and watch.  It doesn’t take itself too seriously as a sport and the atmosphere was immense.  Everybody was drinking, socialising and just having a great time.  I can only describe it as a party atmosphere and if I ever get the chance to go again I would!  There was the Mexican wave, clapping hands, stamping of feet, chanting, dancing… PARTY ON!!
We then headed back to Hyde Park to watch Jess Ennis, Greg Rutherford and Mo Farah bag their Golds!  What an AMAZING experience!!  People were screaming, shouting, crying, hugging…  It was just an incredible place to watch ‘Super Saturday’.  If you can get down to BT Live at Hyde Park I would absolutely recommend it!!  I will never forget it!!  Do you guys have any Olympic stories?  I’d love to hear them!!
