I’ll admit I’m a total Lush convert. If something smells good I will probably want to try it. I also work in a heavily air conditioned office meaning every inch of my skin feels disgustingly dry and flakey by the end of the day…. Sometimes by the middle of the day too. I’ve always suffered with dry, flakey lips. The air con just seems to aggrivate them more.
One day while perusing Lush I came across the Bubblegum Lip Scrub on the counter. The minute I smelt it I was sold. I didn’t care if it worked or not, it smelt too heavenly to put back on the shelf. I’ve been using it for about four weeks now and can safely say that this is the best lip scrub i’ve ever used. The caster sugar acts as the perfect exfoliant for the lips. It shifts all the dry skin off my lips then you get to lick off the delicious tasting sugar (although I still can’t decide if this grosses me out!) I then coat my lips in a nourishing lip balm. It’s usually the one I have lying around in my handbag although I am looking for another so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
Also, you only need the tiniest bit to get the job done so I can see this pot lasting for ages. It was around the £5 mark which some might say is pricey for a lip scrub but they can be worth their weight in gold if they work.
