I’ll admit Bambi is not my favourite Disney film. Not by a long shot. I couldn’t even tell you which film is my favourite, it’s too hard to choose (perhaps a whole other post of ramblings). But I couldn’t resist when I saw this necklace on eBay (during my Thrifty challenge). I thinks it’s so adorable. As most of you know, to say I love Disney would be an understatement and I love any way I can incorporate it subtly into my everyday life. I’n not sure what brand this necklace is, I just know it was made in 2006 (stamp on the back) but I’m looking forward to wearing it. I’m going to try layering it with others to see what it looks like. I love silver jewellery, I much prefer it to gold, even rose gold.
I don’t think there is anything wrong in wearing Disney as long as it’s tastefully done (I’m thinking a Minnie Mouse Shell Suit would be overkill??). There are lots of brands out there who buy the rights to have Disney images on their clothing, jewellery, bags, accessories etc which makes it so easy to find something to your taste. I like vintage or distressed style pieces. One’s that are not too in your face but still give enjoyment 🙂
