Review: Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit

I recently acquired the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit from my mum who is neither here nor there about make up.  It’s in the colour ‘Ivory’ which looks a bit darker than Ivory normally looks but after a close inspection and a couple of swatches I decided to give it a go.

The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit come as a three piece set.  You get a creamy concealer in the top half of the pot and a powder to set it  underneath.  You also get a foam sponge to apply.  This concealer is designed to mask the dark circles we sometimes get under our eyes.  It’s meant to make you look well rested and fresh.

Step one is to apply the creamy concealer to the under eye area (after prep of course).  Now everybody likes to do this a different way.  I like to use my finger to dab it under my eye then use a brush to blend it in.  The next step is to use the power to set the concealer.  Now I’m assuming this is what the sponge is for however I used a brush to dab on the powder.  It sets very nicely, I have to say.  Bobbi Brown recommends that you use one shade lighter than your foundation.  Mine is actually the same shade but with the right blending and the powder it looked fine.

Sorry about the picture quality, I took them on the front camera on my iPhone (it doesn’t do this product justice)

Overall I think this is a good product.  The formula is rich but does not look cakey  It blends easily and stayed put for the day.  I think it will be a regular in my make up bag along with My ‘Bobbi Brown Touch Up Stick.’

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit usually costs £17.  What’s your favourite under eye concealer??
