At the beginning of the month, I headed off for 72 hours at Disneyland Paris for a few day of relaxation fun! I headed off with my fellow Disney fan Steph as we wanted to get a cheeky summer trip in before the school holidays started. It was a rather impulsive trip for me – we only booked it about 3 weeks before we went and I left most of the planning to Steph (who was fabulous!).
For our 72 hours at Disneyland Paris, we stayed at the Kyriad Hotel, one of Disneyland’s partner hotels as we got an excellent deal with breakfast included. The breakfast alone made the stay completely worthwhile; a full breakfast buffet with hot and cold options. Steph and I filled up and it meant we didn’t really need to eat again until later on in the afternoon. The Kyriad also benefits from the partner hotel shuttle bus which runs every 10 minutes at peak time!
I finally picked up an annual pass which means I’ll be able to come back as much as I want in the next year (we’re planning an autumn trip and maybe one for the 25th anniversary!) On our first morning we headed straight to the annual pass office with the lovely Chelsea who sponsored us meaning we got 10% off and she got her next annual pass for free! 
This trip was a really nice mix of character meets, rides and photo opportunities. We managed to go on all the big rides in both Disneyland Park and Studios.
Of course I couldn’t write post about this trip without mentioning the new ‘Mickey and the Magician’ show in Studios park. I’m not going to offer up many spoilers so I’m just going to say that it is one of the best Disney shows I’ve ever seen. I’d rank it up there with Fantasmic and the Beauty and the Beast over at Hollywood Studios. It’s running into 2017 so if you are visiting I thoroughly recommend catching one of the shows (I think there are about five a day!)
So if you’re a disney nut like me and need an in between Orlando fix, I’d recommend 72 hours in Disneyland Paris.
