Estee Lauder Advanced Eye Repair Eye Complex Review

As a blogger, there are few products that make it onto that esteemed ‘holy grail’ list.   One of my first placements, and one that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon is the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum.  I’ve sworen by this magic potion for over three years and now I can FINALLY say that I’ve tried it’s baby sister, the Estee Lauder Advanced Eye Repair Eye Complex*.

With it’s ChronoluxCB Technology, Advanced Eye Repair Eye Complex helps to inhibit the appearance of the visible damage that lack of sleep, pollution and age cause – fine lines, dark circles, crows feet, dryness, puffiness and uneven texture.  At the age of 25 I’m becoming more and more aware of these signs of ageing and am already taking preventative measures to keep them at bay as long as possible – rather difficult when you have an expressive eye and forehead area!!  Advanced Eye Repair is full of powerful anti-oxidants which help neutralise any environmental damage caused to the sensitive eye area while the hyaluronic acid (everybody’s favourite skincare ingredient lately) helps lock in moisture giving the illusion of younger looking eyes.

I’ve been using the Estee Lauder Advanced Eye Repair Eye Complex as my regular night time eye cream for a few weeks now and it’s so easy to see why people get as addicted to it as I’ve become with the original serum. As with all eye creams/gels, I guess it’s difficult to really tell how well this is doing (that comes much later in the future!) but the immediate benefits are also evident from the few short weeks I’ve been using it.  My eyes look brighter and even though I haven’t been getting the best sleep lately, my bags appear reduced.  Ahhh that youthful feeling… It will be interesting to see how I get on with this over the next couple of months and whether their are any other signs of improvement around my general eye area.

Don’t forget when applying eye cream/gel to pat it into the skin rather than rub.  The skin is much thinner around the eye and you don’t want to drag it.

I’ve been trying out a few different eye creams/gels lately and I can safely say that Advanced Eye Repair is up there with the best of them.  The results are instant and help me to get through the day without anybody telling me I ‘look tired’… I know some treasures don’t I?  You can’t put a price on the illusion of a great nights sleep…. Well actually you can…  Estee Lauder skincare including Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex (£40 for 15ml) is available at Harrods.com and in my opinion, just like Advanced Night Repair, is worth every penny.  The 15ml lasts a long while as it only takes the tiniest drop to cover both eyes so I don’t think I’ll be needing to stock up for a while yet.
